The session fee covers your time out on the ground.

Guided stalking outings include one cull animal within the outing fee.

Unguided stalking provides structured access to managed ground for experienced stalkers. Depending on the estate and management objectives, female deer may either be included within the outing fee or charged at a reduced management rate.

PAYG sessions charge animals individually, and Cull & Management Days usually include unlimited cull animals.

Each outing is conducted by an experienced, insured guide operating under clear and structured standards, ensuring a safe, ethical and professionally managed experience.

Guided stalking is suitable for both experienced rifle certificate holders and those new to deer stalking. Whether you are building confidence or refining existing skills, your stalk will be delivered with clarity, control and respect for both deer and land.

Stalking may be conducted from elevated high seats or via structured foot stalking depending on season, conditions and management objectives.

 

About This Ground

This Scottish ground near Lairg is a beautiful Scottish estate in the heart Scotland. The estate supports healthy populations of Red & Sika Deer, offering the quintessential Scottish Red Stag and Hind stalking experience, as well as exciting opportunities on the infamously tough Scottish Sika deer. 

 

Session Options

A full day is the minimum we offer for a days stalking on this estate due to it's size, and we recommend a reasonable level of fitness. If you would like to do more days please increase the quantity before you book.

 

What to Expect

Your outing begins with a structured safety briefing before deployment to designated positions. Depending on conditions, you may be guided on foot or positioned in a suitable high seat.

Your guide retains responsibility for safety, shot selection and overall conduct throughout the session.

Animals taken are processed in accordance with estate and hygiene standards.

 

Inclusions

Your booking fee includes:

  • Professional guide supervision
  • Ground access
  • Structured deployment and oversight
  • Gralloching carried out to an acceptable food hygiene standard
  • One cull animal taken during the outing

Clients are welcome to participate in or undertake the gralloch under supervision if they wish.

Additional animals may be taken subject to estate management requirements and will be charged in accordance with the Shot Fees schedule.

 

Suitability & Requirements

Guided stalking is suitable for:

  • Beginners (under full supervision)
  • New rifle certificate holders
  • Experienced deer stalkers

Participants must:

  • Hold appropriate firearm certification where required
  • Carry valid shooting insurance
  • Follow all safety instructions provided by the guide

 

Non-Shooting Companions

Non-shooting family members under 21 years may attend free of charge.

Family members over 21 years: £100 per day.
Non-family guests: £150 per day.

All non-shooting guests must hold appropriate insurance, not be prohibited from firearm ownership, and confirm they will not shoot.

 

Booking & Date Arrangement

Once your booking is completed, we will contact you directly to agree suitable dates and session timings.

Outings are scheduled according to estate availability, season and management requirements to ensure a safe and professionally delivered experience.
